In term of Air Flow (CFM), the performances of a 80 mm fan are much better than a 60 mm fan ones
LESS NOISE
For higher performances, 80 mm fans, equiped with lager blades, generaly generate less noise (dBA) than 60 mm fans. The reason is that the 80 mm fans simply rotate slower than 60 mm ones, for same of higher air flow.
For example, if you install this Fan Adapter on your CPU Heatsink, you will see that the processor will work under a lower temperature and your ears will thank you for less noise !!!
