This product has to be installed in a free 5"1/4 bay (space usualy used by CDROM readers...)
INSTALLATION:
LIS2 is powered via standard PSU Molex 4 pins connectors, and linked to datas thru any free motherboard internal USB 1.1 or 2.0 port. (It is still possible to use the included cable to connect to external USB port in the eventuality of lack of free internal USB port)
Finaly, you can connect up to 4 Fans to the 4x 3pins male connectros that are installed at the back of the LIS2.
Max Power per Channel = 10 Watts
The needed cabling is also provided:
- 3 cables : 3 pins female / 3 pins male - 70 cm long (for Molex 3 pins Female Fans)
- 2 cables : 3 pins female / 4 pins female - 70 cm long (for Molex 4 pins male Fans)
Once installed and connected, you have to install the "Lost In Space 2" software. As the shipped CD doeas not necessary includes the last version of this software, we advise you to directly download the last release by clicking here.
Once the software is installed, you're set !!! You LIS2 will show you a lot of informations (you choose the ones you want to display).
As example :
CPU : Type, Frequency, Load (P4 Hyper-Threading supported: Displays both "virtual" CPU's)
RAM : Load, Swap
Emails : Number of waiting emails (4 pop accounts monitored)
Task reminder
Operating System : Version, DirectX, Page Code, Login...)
Imaging:A small software is included to Control Center (CG Icon Builder). That will allows you to create your own small icons to be displayed on your LIS2...
Winamp and/or Windows Media Player: the product is compliant with both softwares and shows the name of the music played and/or dynamic frequency graphic chart...
Mother Board Monitor : The product is complant with the leading software of temperature control (CPU, MB, HDD), voltages, and Fan RPM Monitoring. You can download the last version of Mother Board Monitor (+ Language Pack) by clicking here.
